Justice Mudgal panel submits final report to SC; hearing on Nov 10

Justice Mukul Mudgal committee, which investigated the allegations against ousted Indian cricket board chief N Srinivasan and 12 others including some cricketers in the IPL spot fixing case, on Monday submitted its final report in a sealed cover to the Supreme Court.

A reliable source told dna, "Statements of about 100 people from Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and others have been recorded in the report, which runs over 200 pages. Justice Mudgal committee has summarised its findings in 20 pages and rest are the documents pertaining to the detailed investigation carried out against the names which figured earlier."

"Now the court will act upon the report on November 10, the date already fixed in the case," the source added.
Srinivasan, who was asked by the apex court to step down as preisdent of BCCI following allegations against him in March, is presently the chairman of the International Cricket Council (ICC).

An apex court bench headed by Justice TS Thakur, before which senior counsel Raju Ramachandran submitted the report, will examine the report on the next date of hearing and pass an order for next course of action against the accused persons.
