A quick hack at important dates
- Candidates can start applying for the Railways posts starting March 12, 2009, from 5 pm onwards.
- The last date to apply for the RRB posts is April 12. Applications will not be entertained after 11:59 pm.
- Applicants can pay the fee for the application online using net banking, credit card, debit card, and UPI till April 23, 11:59 pm.
- Candidates who will be making the fee payment using SBI challan should do it latest by April 18, 1 pm.
- Aspiring candidates who are looking to pay application fee through post office challan should do it before April 18, 1 pm.
- The last for the final submission of application is April 26, till 11:59 pm.
Age limit
Candidates must fall under the age group 18-33 to apply for the RRB posts.
Application fee
- Candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 500 except for people belonging to those categories who are given concession. Rs 400 will be refunded according to the RRB guidelines.
- For PwBD, female, transgender, ex-servicemen, and people belonging to SC/ST or minority categories will have to pay Rs 250 as application fee. Rs 250 will be refunded as per RRB guidelines.
Education qualification
As per the guidelines to apply for the available posts, all the aspiring candidates should have minimum education qualification from recognised board/NCVT/SCVT.
