J&K man caught having 'sex' with cow in Katra

The people of the holy town of Katra in Jammu were shocked after a 31-year-old man was caught allegedly having sex with a cow.

The incident occurred on Wednesday night when some locals caught an inebriated man having unnatural sex with a stray cow in Katra town. The people immediately informed the police who immediately arrested the man and booked him for unnatural sex under Section 377 Ranbir Penal Code (RPC).

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Reasi Tahir Sajad Bhat confirmed that the man was drunk at the time of the event.

"The incident happened at around 1 am on Wednesday night. He was caught by the local people while he was indulging in the act and later handed him over to us. We have formally arrested him," he said.

The police has launched the investigation and assured the people that strict action will be taken against the accused.

The incident has also occurred at a time when country is seething with anger over the brutal rape and murder of eight-year-old tribal nomad girl in Kathua in January. From being drugged to being gang raped in a religious place, the bone chilling crime had all the wicked traits of lust, hatred and revenge.
