Suspected naxals on Wednesday triggered a bomb blast at an under-construction Constable Training Centre, beside a CRPF camp, under Jadugora police station limits in Jharkhand. No casualty was reported in the incident, Superintendent of Police (rural), Md Arsi said.

The under-construction centre is located 3 kms away from the Uranium township of Jadugora and 25 kms from the Steel city of Jamshedpur. 11 low intensity bombs were placed on the under-constructed boundary wall of the training centre but six of them exploded, the SP said, adding the wall was partially damaged.

A bomb disposal squad immediately rushed to the spot and defused the remaining five bombs, he said. The suspected naxals have also pasted posters in the area demanding employment to the local masses and accusing PrimeMinister Narendra Modi of being "pro-capitalist". The posters have been seized.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (Musaboni), Ajit Vimal said the training centre, largest centre of the state, was being constructed on 100 acres of land at Jadugora to impart training to the constables. The construction work of the centre was likely to be completed in ten days, he added.
