JEE Main Result 2017: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will declare Joint Entrance Examination (Main) 2017 Result, JEE Main 2017 Result, CBSE JEE Result 2017 today on 27th April . The Joint Entrance Examination (Main) 2017 exam was held on April 2. Students can their JEE Main Result 2017, JEE 2017 Result on  jeemain.nic.in, cbse.nic.in and cbseresults.nic.in​

CBSE Joint entrance examination is widely known as JEE Main. JEE Main Exam was conducted initially in the year 1960. It is a common entrance test that is conducted for admissions in various engineering institutions for courses such as B. tech, B.E, B. Arch, and B. planning under the track of Ministry of Human Resource Development.

JEE Main Exam comprises of two papers i.e. Paper 1 and Paper 2. Candidates have the choice of opting between the two examinations. Paper 1 is for admission in B. tech (online and offline) and Paper 2 is for admission in B. Arch and B. Planning. These examinations are conducted through offline modes. Both examinations comprise of objective type of questions and approximately 1, 50,000 students appears for the JEE Main Exam (Joint Entrance Examination) every year.

CBSE released the OMR sheets of the students with their answer keys on April 18. Candidates have a fair idea of how they have performed. They will be eager to know their JEE Main 2017 Ranks, which will be published on Thursday. The JEE Main 2017 Result can be accessed from the official website jeemain.nic.in, cbse.nic.in and cbseresults.nic.in​

Steps to check JEE Main Results 2017:

Visit the official website jeemain.nic.in, cbse.nic.in and cbseresults.nic.in​

Click on the link titled 'JEE Main 2017 Results'

You have to enter application number, date of birth and name

JEE Main Result 2017 will be displayed once you click submit.

Keep a printout of the result for future reference.

Students clearing the JEE Main examination will be eligible for application to JEE advanced for admission in IITs.

Out of 1.3 million students taking part, only 2 lakhs are likely to qualify for JEE advanced. Best of luck to all students!
