In an unusual turn of events, the Janata Dal (United) have decided to retaliate against Prime Minister Narendra Modi"s DNA jibe by collecting the hair and nail sample of 50 lakh Biharis" and send it to the Prime Minister"s Office.

"The Prime Minister does not know the value of the Bihari DNA. So, we will send him the DNA sample of 50 lakh Biharis so that he can see for himself," JD(U) spokesman Ajay Alok tol ANI in Patna.

"Bihar DNA comprises of Ramdhari Singh Dinkar, Rajendra Prasad and Aryabhata and the Prime Minister needs to know that. His words have hurt the pride of the people of Bihar." He added.

The JD(U) will hold a "Swabhimaan" rally on 29th of August at Gandhi Maidan responding to the Bharatiya Janata Party"s (BJP) challenge that JD(U) does not have the support of the people of Bihar.

"Prime Minister has to take his words back. The way he insulted the blood and DNA of Nitish Kumar is an insult to the Bihari population. No Bihari will take any attack on their self respect. So we will hold a Swabhimaan rally to show Narendra Modi what the people of Bihar really think of him," Alok said.

On July 25, the Prime Minister addressed a rally in Muzaffarpur. And said there is something wrong with Nitish Kumar's "political DNA" that led the Janata Dal-United leader to abandon friends who worked with him.

"I was hurt when he withdrew his support. But when he did the same thing to a Mahadalit such as Jitan Manjhi, then I figured out there is something wrong in his political DNA," Prime Minister Modi said, referring to the JD(U)'s split with the BJP in 2013.
