A hotel in Jaipur was sealed after Gau Raksha Dal complained that they are serving beef, reports The Indian Express.
According to the report, the owner and a staff member of Hotel Hayat Rabbani have been arrested too. They have been arrested under sections 295A (deliberate and malicious acts, intended to outrage religious feelings of any class by insulting its religion or religious beliefs) of the IPC. The hotel was vacated and sealed, said the Jaipur deputy mayor.
However according to the report, the beef rumour was baseless and locals were unhappy over non-veg remains which were disposed off in the open. Cows used to eat those waste materials. The deputy mayor was quoted as saying that the hotel was sealed off as it didn't have a license and also for disposing their waste in the open.
