ISIS 'recuiter' Afsha Jabeen reveals names of 15 people who wanted to join the terrorist organisation

Afsha Jabeen from Hyderabad was arrested recently for allegedly being an Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) sympathiser. Now, Jabeen (aka Nicky Joseph), an ISIS ‘recruiter’, has reportedly revealed the names of 15 people who were in touch with her to join ISIS.

According to a report in a leading daily, police sources have told them that she disclosed the names of 15 people in India who showed interest in joining ISIS. She also reportedly denied that she was to marry Salman Mohiuddin, a Hyderabadi engineer who had returned from the US and was also part of the ISIS. 

Police are now said to be investigating the 15 people whose names she has revealed and looking to detain them. According to the report, some have already been taken into custody for questioning. 

Afsha Jabeen was living in Dubai under the pretext of being a British citizen. She was trying to recruit people for ISIS through social media. She was deported by the UAE police and was arrested in Hyderabad when she arrived. Jabeen is married to a Dubai-based realtor who has also been taken into custody.
