Bollywood actor and BJP parliamentarian Paresh Rawal on Monday took social media by storm after he said that writer Arundhati Roy be tied to an army jeep.
Rawal's scathing attack on Roy comes after the author during an event in Srinagar said that India cannot achieve its objective in the occupied Kashmir valley even if its army deployment increase from 7 lakh to 70 lakh,
She called the Indian aggression in the Kashmir ‘shameful’ and said that the New Delhi`s oppression cannot subdue Kashmiri struggle.
Roy's comments comes a month after the 'human shield' incident in Kashmir in which a man was tied to an army vehicle purportedly as a shield against stone pelters.
Twenty-six-year-old Farooq Ahmad Dar was tied to the front of a military jeep. While the military faced a widespread criticism for using Dar as a 'human shield,' some people defended the act, arguing that this is a justified response to Kashmiri protesters who hurl stones and heckle and beat members of the security forces.
The army has also ordered a Court of Inquiry into the controversial incident.
"Instead of tying stone pelter on the army jeep tie Arundhati Roy," said Rawal in a tweet. However, it wasn't clear why the actor made that comment.

@SirPareshRawal Your acting was often commendable but your prejudiced mindset is condemnable. Telling d army to hide behind a brave woman is shameful
