“Elections belong to the people. It's their decision. If they decide to turn their back on the fire and burn their behinds, then they will just have to sit on their blisters”—Abraham Lincoln

The Election season in India is over and people are awaiting fulfiillment of promises with bated breath. Be it the reduction in food prices or safety of woman, each promise needs to be fulfiled by those at the Centre of power.

The Narendra Modi government which is known for a no non-sense approach to governance will need to change the way public perceives political leaders as someone who appear to seek votes and disappear when the time approaches to fulfill promises.

Ram Subramanian, whose film 'Mute' spoke about citizens duties to vote has again compiled a strong video about the collective voice of India. From that girl who wants a safe city to the farmers who want fair price for their produce, all the voices have been imbibed in the video which packs a punch with the message, 'Don't forget citizens after you win the elections.'

The finality of the message is loud and clear: Don't forget citizens after you win. They are not mere spectator anymore and will question your every political move.
