Hyderabad: Husband puts out 'call girl ad' with wife’s number

In what is stated to be an act of revenge, a man in Hyderabad put out his wife’s number in the personal classifieds section on various websites. He then went on to mention her as a call girl in the advertisement, according to a report in the Deccan Chronicle. 

The man, identified as E Murali from Malakpet, got married in 2002 and the duo has two children. However, the couple later separated as Murali used to allegedly harass his wife. 

The wife has lodged a complaint with the police against him for defaming her. She reported that she got calls from people seeking sexual favours and calls abusing her as well. It was after this that her parents decided to go to the police and file a complaint. The police have arrested Murali, states the report.
