Hyderabad: 20-year-old allegedly rapes 10th standard student

The police have arrested a 20-year-old youth who allegedly raped his neighbour, a 10th standard student. A report in Deccan Chronicle states that Syed Mubasheer who lives in Santoshnagar had just come back from Dubai a few months ago. The 10th standard, a 15-year-old girl, is his neighbour and a close family friend, according to the report.

It is reported that the young girl used to go to Mubasheer’s house often but on Tuesday the visit turned harrowing for her. She was allegedly raped by him on that day.

According to the report, he is said to taken the girl to his bedroom on the first floor and raped her. Post that, he fled from his house as he was scared about the repercussions and what the victim’s family would do.

The police registered a case against him and arrested him when he came back home on Friday morning.
