Home Minister Rajnath Singh discharged from AIIMS

Home Minister Rajnath Singh was discharged from All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on Thursday afternoon. 

Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan  said, "Rajnath ji had come for routine check up as he had pain in the abdomen, but there is no cause of worry and he has been discharged.

63-year-old Singh was admitted on Wednesday night due to complaints of pain in his lower abdomen, where he underwent various tests.

Doctors performed colonoscopy on him along with few other tests. Colonoscopy is an endoscopic examination of the large intestine and the distal part of the small bowel.

A senior doctor at AIIMS said, "He underwent colonoscopy test this morning. His condition is perfectly stable."
