Haryana: Midnight robbery takes sinister twist, two girls gangraped and one couple murdered

In a shocking incident in Mewat district of Haryana, a minor girl and her cousin were allegedly gangraped by robbers on Wednesday midnight. The robbers also reportedly killed the victims' relatives who lived in the same neighbourhood.

According to a report in The Indian Express, one of the two rape victims, has filed a complaint at the Tauru police station. The 20-year-old victim says in her complaint that she was visiting her uncle in Dingerheri village of Mewat district and on Wednesday midnight, four to five men barged into her uncle's home. She alleges that the robbers tied up her uncle and aunt who were sleeping outside. The robbers then reportedly took turns to rape her and her 15-year-old cousin sister. 

Another uncle and aunt of the victim, who lived 200 metres away from them were assaulted too by the robbers, claims the victim. The couple succumbed to their injuries in the hospital. In the complaint, the victim also says that one of the robbers had at least one country-made pistol. The robbers reportedly took valuables from their home and fleed with the family's motorcycle. 

Cases under Sections 459, 460 (trespass), 376D (gangrape) have reportedly been registered against the accused. However, no arrests have been made in the case yet. 

SP of Mewat said that 5 teams were investigating different angles in the case.
