Mundra port has been put on high alert after Pakistan trained commandos entered the Gulf of Kutch and Kutch area through Harami Nala creek area. The coast guard alert says the commandos are trained for underwater attacks. The coast guard had received the input that has been shared with private companies to take safety measures.
"It is therefore directed to take utmost measures of security and prevent any untoward situation in Gujarat state," Adani in a statement said.

Security has also been enhanced at the Kandla port in view of intelligence inputs that Pakistani commando are likely to infiltrate into Indian territory to create communal disturbance or terrorist attack in Gujarat.

The development comes days after Islamabad deployed medium-range artillery and mobilised its army along the LoC.
Pakistan earlier had been using small weapons when it comes to ceasefire violations. India has used Bofors to deal with increased Pakistani efforts to destabilise the LoC.
It is understood that Islamabad has deployed its Special Service Group (SSG), an elite commando force and Border Action Team (BAT) at the LoC.
On the night July 31 and August 1, Indian forces thwarted BAT attempt to infiltrate across the LoC at Karen sector.
The development comes days after Imran Khan resorted to the nuclear threat.
On Monday, in an address to the nation on Kashmir, Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan had given a "nuclear threat".
He said, "India should remember that if the situation turns out worse and moves towards a war they should remember that both countries have nuclear weapons and one should remember that repercussions will be around the world, not just India and Pakistan." Increased activity of terror groups has also been seen.
Associates of Masood Azhar, the chief of United Nation listed terror group Jaish-e-Mohammed, have been noticed overlooking the training of terror groups, eager to cross over LoC. Increased movement of terrorist has been reported in Muzaffarabad, Rawalakot and Kotli in Pakistan occupied Kashmir.
