Gujarat Elections 2017 | Hardik Patel questions authenticity of EVMs

PAAS leader Hardik Patel has questioned the authenticity of EVMs on Saturday. Patel posted several tweets saying that BJP would try to tamper with EVMs. He also made the prediction that if EVMs were not tampered, BJP would win only 82 seats.

Talking to mediapersons, he also questioned SC's decision to reject Congress' plea, seeking cross-verification of VVPAT with votes cast with EVMs and asked why they were used in the Gujarat polls. "Why are VVPATs used in the first place? It is used for smooth counting of votes wherever there is a fault. I do not understand SC's stand on the issue," Hardik said.
