Pakistan resorted to a fresh ceasefire violation along the International Border in Samba District of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday, resulting in the death of one Border Security Force (BSF) personnel. Pakistan has already violated the ceasefire agreement on a number of occasions in 2015. Several persons have been killed on either side of the border.

On Saturday, two army jawans and a woman were killed while 11 people were injured in the firing, while Pakistani firing on Thursday had left two persons dead, including a BSF jawan, and nine injured. Five Pakistani Rangers had been killed in retaliatory firing.
