Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli wasn't the only one to challenge Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday. The former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar and the Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Assembly Tejashwi Prasad Yadav also posed a challenge before the PM, soon after the he accepted the first one.

Amid the fitness challenges that are all the rage on social media, Kohli had posted his fitness video in response to the challenge posed by Union Minister Rajyavardhan Rathore, who started the #HumFitTohIndiaFit on Tuesday. Kohli had, in turn, challenged the PM along with Anushka and MS Dhoni.

Soon after the PM acknowledged Kohli's challenge and accepted it, Tejashwi, the younger son of ex-Bihar CM Lalu Prasad Yadav, tweeted another challenge for the PM.

"I urge you to accept the challenge to provide jobs to young, relief to farmers, promise of no violence against Dalits and minorities. Would you accept my challenge @narendramodi Sir?" Tejashwi tweeted.

Tejashwi, the 28-year-old politician, who is virtually helming the RJD in the absence of his father and recently shared the dais with senior Opposition leaders at Kumaraswamy's swearing in ceremony, clarified that he had "nothing against accepting fitness challenge from @imVkohli" but the PM should also accept the job and relief challenges posed by him for the welfare of the people.

Tejashwi said, "People are dying from hunger in BJP ruled states, but sahib is concerned about the fitness of the well-fed and prosperous people. Tell me.. the poor farmers and labourer, who toil in the sun throughout the day, put in a lot of hard work, are they concerned about filling their stomach or keeping fit." He added, "First provide meals to the hungry and jobs to the unemployed. Then talk of fitness."

Tejashwi's job and relief challenge to the PM was followed by similar challenges from other Opposition leaders including Congress President Rahul Gandhi who urged the PM to take up the challenge of reducing fuel prices.
