Education loans will be cheaper under BJP's rule: Piyush Goyal

A BJP government, Goyal told reporters, will ensure that education loan is cheaper than car loan as the latter is available at much less interest than the former today.

Asked as to why the party has still not come out with its manifesto when the first phase of elections is only six days away, he just said it will interest and excite people when it comes out and won't be like its Congress counterpart which has "nothing" to offer but only rights.

He declined to comment on the resignation of US Ambassador Nancy Powell and if it had anything to do BJP's unhappiness with the US over its handling of Modi.

"It is their internal matter....You should ask them," he said.

In a bid to counter suggestions that Modi shied away from the media, the party ran a video clip of his TV interviews and claimed Rahul Gandhi has given only one interview so far and Sonia Gandhi none.
