Dr. Chandra Show: Importance of emotions

Chairman of Essel Group and ZEE Dr Subhash Chandra addressed from Management Development Institute, Gurgaon for the upcoming episode of Dr. Subhash Chandra Show. Dr Chandra, in this particular episode discusses about degenerating moral values in today's generation.

Talking to the students Dr. Chandra said that it is only when you develop love, empathy and knowledge that you achieve a higher moral ground laying emphasis on the importance of having the right information, right understanding and right Experience.

Commenting on the importance of emotions, Dr Chandra said that they play a crucial role in connecting us with the truth. He said that emotions can vary in extremes, "Emotions can be sensual and they can also be sublime. They can be personal and also impersonal. Preferential to universal emotions."

He said that if our emotions are selfless, universal and sublime, they can become our strength otherwise they play a part in being our weakness. He further said, " Emotions are like medicine and if they are taken in the right amount and dose, it will cure you and better the world. However, if you take the medicine without administration ou feel helplessness."
