North Korea says it has conducted successful hydrogen bomb test
North Korea on Wednesday made a major announcement saying it has successfully tested a miniaturised hydrogen bomb. The announcement followed after South Korean officials detected an "artificial earthquake" near North Korea's main nuclear testing site.
North Korea is known to have conducted three nuclear tests in the past and is under UN sanctions for its nuclear and missile programmes. Read more
Delhi police question arrested IAF official to probe possible links to Pathankot attack
The Crime Branch of Delhi police have questioned Ranjith KK the 30-year-old Indian Air Force official who was arrested from Punjab's Bhatinda airbase for allegedly passing information pertaining to IAF exercises, movement of aircraft and deployment of IAF units to a suspected intelligence operative.
Crime Branch officials told dna that the decision to question Ranjith was taken to ascertain if there was a direct link between Ranjith and the attackers of Pathankot airbase. Read more

It's official. Bollywood 's Munna bhai aka Sanjay Dutt is set to complete his prison term by February this year. In all probability, he will walk out by the last week of February.

The Central government has set a new deadline for goods and services tax (GST) as April 1, 2017, a good one year after the current one of April 1, 2016.

Wiping back tears as he remembered children killed in a mass shooting, President Barack Obama on Tuesday ordered stricter gun rules that he can impose without Congress and urged American voters to reject pro-gun candidates.
