Some Hindus from Dadri lynching victim Mohammed Akhlaq's village Bisada are now bearing the cost of the marriage of two daughters of a Muslim resident of the village.

A few days ago, Mohammad Akhlaq, a Muslim resident of the same village was lynched over the rumours that he had eaten beef. The incident has raised communal tension in the village which according to Akhlaq's family was hardly present before. The family had said that they had lived lived in Bisada peacefully for generations without any communal strife.

However, the wedding of the two Muslim girls is a suggestion that the communal harmony is slowly creeping back. The two girls were supposed to be married on October 11 but due to the recent tension in the village, the Hakeem  family had decided to reorganise the wedding somewhere outside the village.

However, the village elders convinced the family to not shift the venue and even some Hindus in the village decide to lend a supporting hand and have taken charge of the tent and food. Although the food prepared at the wedding is going to be vegetarian.

One of the Hindu resident of Bisada, HK Sharma said, "The ceremony will be held in the Bisada primary school. I have made arrangements for the food and tent. Other people are also chipping in, "a leading daily reported.
