Cong supports AAPSU over citizenship issue to Chakma-Hajong

It is a wakeup call for the people of the state to understand the hidden agenda of the saffron brigade lest it will be too late," the party alleged in a statement.

Criticising the state government for yesterday's attack on a government official, the Congress demanded the resignation of Chief Minister Pema Khandu, and said "Lawlessness has become the order of the day... extortion, loot and criminal intimidation are being allowed to take place owing to weakness of the BJP government."
