A class 4 student of Ryan International, Ludhiana was allegedly beaten up by two teachers inside a classroom, news agency ANI reported on Thursday.

According to Indian Express, Mansukh Singh, a 10-year-old boy, was thrashed by two teachers after a class fight.

The photographs tweeted by ANI showed red marks on boy's body. His parents alleged that the teacher beat up their son repeatedly on Wednesday and Thursday.

A male and a female teacher are said to be behind the assault at school located in Ludhiana's Jamalpur area.

While the police has registered a case, the school principal maintains that the boy was not assaulted.

“Child wasn't even touched. He was suspended for a month yesterday on disciplinary grounds after he got into a brawl with another child,” Ryan Principal was quoted as saying by the ANI.

However, Jaswinder Singh, victim's father said, “I had complained about high tension wires around school. It's result of that.”

“We have received the complaint and we will take action immediately. We have also received the medical report,” a Jamalpur Police official said.

This is the second time in less than a month that Ryan International has hit national headlines for wrong reason. On September 8, the Gurugram branch of the school witnessed a brutal murder of a class II student.

Pradhyumn Thakur was found with his throat slit inside a toilet on the school campus. On Thursday, the Punjab and Haryana High Court had granted interim bail to the school founders till October 7.
