Yoga guru Baba Ramdev's close associate Acharya Balkrishna has said chanting Om should not be taken negatively as it creates positive energy and is not the name of a God or Goddess. "Chanting Om is not a matter of dispute. It creates positive waves and energy and those who oppose it should understand this concept," Balkrishna said here last evening.

He said everyone should chant Om for the peace of mind and to gain positive energy. Balkrishna said special yoga camps will be organised across the country on June 21 on World Yoga Day where participants will be given information about the benfits yoga and pranayam.

He also visited a gaushala (cowshed) in the city.
