CBSE re-evaluation process for marks begins on June 1, check cbse.nic.in

The Central Board of Secondary Education (Cbse) on 1st June, Friday began the re-evaluation process for Class 10, Class 12.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (Cbse) on June 1st began the re-evaluation process for Class 10, Class 12. The re-evaluation of the exams is being done for the verification of the board exam marks. The CBSE had declared both the Class 10 and Class 12 results in the last week of May. The candidates who are unsatisfied with the marks they have been awarded in their mark sheets can apply for the re-evaluation process from 1st June on the official website cbse.nic.in. 

In 2017, the CBSE had decided abolish the re-evaluation process but some of the students had approached the Delhi High Court and after the Court's intervention the board decided to reintroduce it on 'firts come, first serve' basis. 

“Rechecking/re-evaluation process and details for Classes X and XII CBSE examinations now available on CBSE web portal,” announced HRD secretary Anil Swarup on his Twitter handle.

Here is how you can apply for CBSE Re-evaluation

1. First the candidates have to apply for rechecking and then ask for a copy of their answer sheets which would make them eligible for re-evaluation.

2. The students can apply for rechecking from today (June 1) till June 14, 2018.

3. The applicants can get a copy of their answer books on June 15 and 16, 2018. The copies will be sent by June 20.

4. After the completion of these two processes, the students will be able to apply for re-evaluation on June 21 and 22, 2018.

5. The window to make online payments for rechecking will open from June 1 till June 5. Students can make online payments also.


CBSE Re-evaluation fees: 

For rechecking, the Class 10th 12th students will have to pay Rs 500 per subject. The photocopy of an answer book will be available to you for Rs 700 for Class 12th and Rs 500 for Class 10th. For re-evaluation, the applicants will have to pay Rs 100 per question for both the classes.
