The Maharashtra ATS received an e-mail threatening of a bomb blast on a Delhi Kanpur train.

The Lucknow Shatabdi, headed for Lucknow from New Delhi railway station, was halted at Ghaziabad railway station after a bomb scare, say media reports.
The Shatabdi Express was then evacuated at Ghaziabad railway station, and then searched thoroughly.
The Maharashtra ATS received an e-mail threatening of a bomb blast on a Delhi Kanpur train, and informed railway authorities following which the train was stopped.
The ASI had called the station managers requesting all Delhi-Kanpur trains be checked before being allowed to leave.
Many other trains were halted and some delayed at New Delhi Railway station after the bomb scare.

However, it has now been confirmed that no suspicious object was found aboard the train.
