Bogies of Amravati Express derail near Kalyan; services hampered

Passenger services on the Central Railway line were disrupted on Thursday morning after the engine and one General Second Class-cum-Guard’s van of the Amravati-Mumbai Express (12112) train derailed near Kalyan.

The accident took place at Kalyan railway station, while the train was entering Platform No 4 of the station at 04.50 am. 

Rail traffic at Kalyan on North East Up line (Igatpuri-Kasara-Kalyan Up Line) was restored from 7.20 am

However, no casualty was reported. Restoration of traffic is in full swing.

Passenger carrying trains are likely to be regulated / diverted / cancelled or trans-shipment would be arranged.

12110/12109 Manmad-Mumbai-Manmad Panchvati Express

TRAINS SHORT TERMINATED:

22102 Manmad-Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Rajyarani Express short terminated at Nasik Road and will work back as 22101 Rajyarani Express from Nasik Road.

TRAINS DIVERTED:

11025 Bhusaval-Pune Express via Manmad-Daund
