Bodies of missing brothers found, mother still untraced

Decomposed bodies of two minor brothers, who had gone missing along with their mother on Tuesday in Mayurbhanj district, were found from a mango orchard while the woman remained untraced, police said today.

The bodies of 10 and 3-year-old brothers were found near Jhitabandha village under Badampahar area last evening.

Three persons have been detained for questioning and search is on to nab another in connection with the incident, which is suspected to be a case of murder over witchcraft, police said.

The children had gone to a relative's house in a nearby village with their mother on Tuesday. They had started from there the same day, they never reached home.

The father of the boys Madhu Sinku then lodged a missing diary with the police.
