Blue Whale claims MBA student in Puducherry

In yet another case of suspected Blue Whale Challenge suicide, a first-year MBA student of the Pondicherry Central University was found dead on Thursday night.

The body of Sasikumar Bora, 21, a native of Assam, was found hanging from a tree by a towel near his hostel room.

After primary investigation, the police have said the Blue Whale Challenge might be behind Bora's suicide as well. They said that Bora had downloaded the game on his mobile phone as well as on his laptop. The investigation also revealed that Bora had invited some of his friends in Assam to play the game.

"We have started the investigation to ascertain whether Bora committed suicide due to the the game," Puducherry's Superintendent of Police (east) S Venkatasamy said.
