Minister of State for Minority Affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi on Saturday took Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi to task for mocking the 'Swachh Bharat Abhiyan', saying people will polluted minds can't see cleanliness.
"Those who already have a polluted mind, cannot see cleanliness. Firstly, the Congress Party should clean the dirt from the minds of their leaders, and after that, they will automatically see the cleanliness," said Naqvi.

Addressing a rally in Jharkhand's Manika region earlier on Saturday, Gandhi criticized NDA Government's 'Swachh Bharat Abhiyan', saying marketing and photo ops do not necessarily contribute to the nation's development. "Marketing and photo operations do not contribute to the development of the nation. 'Swacch Bharat Abhiyan' became a marketing strategy, development was promised, but what they gave in your hands is a broom. The BJP indulges in divisive politics and they think it will benefit them," he said during the rally.

The first phase of the five-phased polling in Jharkhand will be held on November 25. The counting of votes will take place on December 23.
