BJP MP from Salempur, Ravindra Kushwaha alleged that his party colleague and Union Minister Giriraj Singh was "promoting groupism" in the organisation.

"The minister is promoting groupism in the party...what he did in Bihar to the party he is trying to do the same in Uttar Pradesh," Kushwaha said.

The MP also alleged that the MoS for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises did not visit his constituency despite his several requests but went there on Thursday, in Sikanderpur, without taking him into confidence.

"When I came to know of the minister's visit, I tried to contact him on phone but he didn't pick it up," Kushwaha said.

Meanwhile, when the visiting minister was asked to react on the Kushwaha's charges, Singh said he had gone there on an invitation from the organisation. It was the duty of the organisation to inform the MP of the visit, he said.
