In an apparent case of road rage, two bike-borne assailants allegedly shot at a cab driver after an altercation and fled with his taxi in Seemapuri area in Delhi on Thursday evening.
According to the police, the incident took place when victim, identified as Hasan was was returning after dropping a passenger in Ghaziabad.
"As he entered Delhi from UP near Seemapuri, two bike-borne men hit the car from behind. As he came out of the car, an altercation ensued during which one of them opened fire at him," said a police official.
As the driver collapsed after being hit in the shoulder, they fled in his car. Someone made a PCR call following which the driver was rushed to GTB hospital. A manhunt has been launched to nab the accused, police said.
