Projecting Bihar as fast developing state with inclusive  approach, chief minister of the state Nitish Kumar on Saturday urged Biharis living in Maharashtra to think about their home town and invest there as well.

Urging Biharis to visit their "Janmbhumi" to experience the difference themselves, Kumar in a program at Mumbai invited people of Bihar to invest in education and other sectors. "Currently, educational institutions of other states have large number of Bihari students. Once we have enough number of good institutions, the youngsters will study at home state," said Kumar.

Taking an apparent dig at the BJP leaders and Prime Minister Narendra Modi who talk about development, Kumar said in Mumbai, "Bihar is changing fast. However, we never publicise about state's growth. People who visit the state talk about it. Their mouth publicity is spreading the word."

Kumar is in Mumbai to launch Maharashtra chapter of the his party Janta Dal (United). He went to Chaitya Bhumi in the afternoon and is slated to hold a public rally in Goregaon in the evening.

Kumar insisted that all his schemes aim to benefit every section of the society. "Our road development is being talked about everywhere by Biharis who visit their home towns and by drivers who go through the state. Our Cycle scheme for girls is the case study in many foreign universities. Liquor ban has been supported overwhelmingly."

Talking about his priorities, Kumar said,"Now we are ensuring power and tap water for every house in Bihar including villages."

In a hidden attack on Shiv Sena and MNS which have grown on anti-immigrant sentiments and had accused people from Bihar and UP for grabbing job opportunities meant for Marathi Manoos, Kumar said, "Biharis are never a burden on anyone. They are hardworking and entrepreneurs. They create jobs for hundreds of people. People of Bihar are settled across India which is itself a proof that people can't do without Biharis."
