This is the second such case involving sexual assault or attempted sexual assault on minors in the state in the past few days. Over the weekend, a group of boys tried to enter a girls school to assault girls studying there, but were accosted and beaten up.
The boys then returned with their family members who proceeded to beat up the staff and the girls. 34 girls were then hospitalized.
Four women were part of the mob that attacked the girls – all aged between 12 and 16. They have been admitted to a local hospital.
The matter was brought to light on Friday after some girls caught the boys entering the premises of a girl’s school, and asked them to leave. “When the boys refused and misbehaved, the girls then beat them up in self defence,” the report added.
After two hours, the boys returned with their parents and relatives and barged into the school, the police said, quoting one of the students. In a complaint to the police, the school Principal said despite requests to calm, the mob beat up the students and teachers. Later, the injured girls had to be hospitalized.
"Some women have been taken into custody & are being interrogated. If they're found to be involved, they'll be arrested. A team of SHOs of 4 police station have been formed to conduct raids. We have talked to the hospital, they say that the injured are stable," said a police officer.

In another post, he said, “Because CM personally interferes to ensure that rapists & perpetrators gets a free run. In majority cases his party men, law makers and office bearers are the main culprits. If an honest officer tries to catch hold of them, He/she is transferred immediately.”
