The announcement was made after the Delhi Chief Minister was invited to the conference by Ambassador Daniel Carmon during a meeting held at the Delhi secretariat today.  The meeting was also attended by Ashish Khetan, Vice-Chairman of  Delhi Dialogue Commission (DDC) .

"The Chief Minister will visit Israel and see the solutions his government can use to handle issues of governance, especially scarcity of water," said a government official. The visiting Ambassador invited the Delhi Government to participate in the water technology and environment control exhibition and conference (WATEC) to be held in Tel Aviv in the month of October.

"We have good mastery on the issue of water management. Rain water is very scarce in Israel, so we have devised ways to handle the problem," Carmon told the Delhi CM.
In the meeting Kejriwal also expressed his wish to invite a team of experts from Israel which could work in close cooperation with the Delhi government.

The Chief Minister replied in an affirmative to the invitation and said that someone will be sent to the conference to look out for issues of water treatment and other water related issues.
