AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday held a roadshow here on the way to his first election rally in Gujarat.

He started the journey in an open-top vehicle from AAP office in Ayojan Nagar.

His cavalcade also passed through Maninagar, which is the Assembly constituency represented by state Chief Minister and BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi.

The roadshow received a good response in Maninagar as well as in other areas, drawing crowds.

However, Kejriwal also faced Modi's supporters who shouted slogans in Modi's support. The AAP leader was seen smiling at them.

Local leader Manish Bhrambhatt and his supporters who claimed they were AAP workers tried to stop Kejriwal and ask him questions, but police detained them.

Kejriwal would be addressing the rally at Bapunagar here this evening.
