In a fresh attack, AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal today accused a "majority" of the media of promoting Narendra Modi, alleging that they were being financially supported by the BJP prime ministerial candidate, Mukesh Ambani and the Adani group.

"Majority of the media houses are promoting Narendra Modi as these media houses are being financially supported by him, Mukesh Ambani and the Adani group," he said while addressing a public rally at Bhim Nagar Ramlila ground here.

The AAP convener further asked media persons to report the "reality" saying the country at present was passing through a "tough time".

Hitting out at Congress, BJP and Indian National Lok Dal (INLD), he said voting for any of these parties would be a waste of precious vote as the three were same.

Urging the public to vote for AAP's Gurgaon LS candidate Yogendra Yadav, Kejriwal said voting in the Lok Sabha elections was a chance for the public to change the corrupt system prevailing in the country.

"AAP is not fighting the elections for the benefit of its leaders, rather they want to change the system in the country as the common man is completely distressed and disappointed by the loots carried out by political leaders," he said.

Expressing confidence over its performance in the general elections, he said people had brought AAP to power in Delhi by making 28 of its candidates win in the Assembly elections, the same would happen in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.

He also claimed that AAP will get a majority in the next Assembly elections in Delhi.

"Whenever there would be elections for Delhi Assembly, people would vote for AAP candidates and give a full majority to AAP. When AAP would form new government in Delhi, they would pass Lokpal bill and send corrupt leaders belonging to different political parties to jail," he said.

In his address, AAP's Gurgaon LS candidate Yadav said it was not he who was fighting the election but the common man for their rights.
"My victory or defeat will be that of the common man," he said.
