BJP president Amit Shah on Thursday inaugurated the party's 'Maha Sampark Abhiyan' review meet for five states, including Maharashtra.

Shah is expected to address the party workers at the meeting, being held at Rangsharda auditorium in suburban Bandra, on various current political issues, party sources said. He is expected to take stock of the political situation in the state as well as assess the progress of party's 'Maha Sampark Abhiyan'.

The BJP chief is expected to meet MPs, MLAs of states including Maharashtra, Gujarat and Goa, and office bearers. The meeting comes after a recent meet of BJP workers and office-bearers during the Maha Sampark Abhiyan of eastern zone states. At Thursday's meet, Shah is expected to speak on boosting party membership, tackling alleged scams and equations with allies.
