Amarinder Singh shown black flags

 Congress' Amarinder Singh was allegedly shown black flags while moving through Majitha today for campaigning for the Lok Sabha election here.

A group of people waved black flags at Amarinder's cavalcade at Abdal village, and shouted slogans against the Congress heavyweight who is pitted against Arun Jaitley of BJP, with which SAD has allied for Amritsar seat.

Amarinder is contesting the Lok Sabha polls from Amritsar seat, under which Majitha assembly constituency falls, which is represented by ruling SAD leader and Punjab Revenue Minister Bikram Singh Majithia.

Meanwhile, Congress sources alleged the protest was "pre-planned" by SAD activists.
