Ajmer Sharif dargah vacated after hoax bomb call: Reports

A hoax bomb call was made on Monday morning warning of a bomb placed at the famous Ajmer Sharif dargah causing a security scare.

Police reached the area immediately after the call and the premises was vacated. The bomb search by the police continued for more than two hours, according to reports. 

At that time when the call was made, more than one lakh people were present inside the premises of the dargah, IBN reported.

Talking about the incident, SP Ajmer Vikas Kumar said, "The police recovered an unattended bag but no explosives were found in it. "We got a hoax call about an unidentified object. We have conducted searches in the entire premises and have found nothing unusual." The situation at the dargah is reported to be normal now.
