Amid hectic parleys ahead of the party's crucial National Council meeting, AAP's internal Lokpal Admiral Ramdas on Wednesday held talks with party convenor and Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal to iron out differences between the two warring factions.

Ramdas, a former navy chief, is expected to seek a reconciliatory path as the negotiations between the camp of Yogendra Yadav-Prashant Bhushan and Kejriwal group are on the verge of collapse.

Ramdas is considered as an acceptable face by both the camps even as a section of party leaders close to Kejriwal are miffed with him for writing a letter to the PAC members, in which he had criticised Kejriwal.

The leaders felt that Ramdas had overstepped his brief by shooting the letter to the party's highest decision making body.

In his February 26 letter, Ramdas noted that there were two camps emerging within top leadership and had asked the party to consider 'one-man, one-post' arrangement.

He also emphasised on having more clarity on whether Kejriwal can handle dual posts of Delhi chief minister and National Convener. He noted there was "abject breakdown in communication and mutual trust" in top leadership which was "unacceptable".

The former navy chief is expected to iron out differences between the two groups.
