An Afghan national has been apprehended at the airport here for allegedly entering the international terminal using a fake e-ticket.

Officials said the incident was reported at about 6 am when a man identified as Mohabbat Allah was intercepted by CISF officials while he was seeing off a woman and a child near the immigration area of the Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA).

Mohabbat, an Afghanistan citizen, told the sleuths that he entered the area using a "fake" e-ticket to see off his wife and son who were flying to Kuwait.

He added that the three had just landed at IGIA from Bangalore but instead of leaving the terminal, he accompanied his wife and son to the international departure area and immigration, allegedly using the fake e-ticket.

"Mohabbat was handed to Delhi Police after his wife and son left for Kuwait," they said.
