Actress Sana Khan says media consultant duped her of Rs 9 lakh

Bollywood actress Sana Khan lodged a cheating complaint against media consultant Poonam Khanna at the Oshiwara police station on Friday. The actress alleged that Khanna had duped her of Rs9 lakh, after promising her two huts in a slum and a flat in the western suburbs.

As per her statement to the police, Khan wanted to purchase two huts at a slums in Malad which were expected to undergo redevelopment under the Slum Redevelopment Authority (SRA) scheme. She said that Khanna informed her about knowing someone who owned two huts in the slum area and that she could broker the deal for Khan. For the deal, Khan said that Khanna took a sum of Rs9 lakh.

Days passed and with no progress in the deal, Khan realised that she was being taken for a ride by Khanna. When the actress cancelled the deal and asked for her money back, Khanna allegedly threatened to file a complaint against her and ruin her career.

An officer from Oshiwara police station said, "We have registered a case of cheating on the complaint of Khan and further investigations are on."

Interestingly, the two women have been embroiled in a legal battle since many days. Just last week, Khanna had filed a molestation and criminal intimidation case against Khan, her boyfriend Ismail and their servant at Amboli police station.
