The Gamdevi police on Saturday arrested a 21-year-old man for allegedly eloping with a 17-year-old girl and establishing physical relationship with her.

The man has been identified as Imran Aslam Khan, a resident of Sai Baba Nagar at Saat Rasta.

According to the police, as per the girl's mother, her daughter, had left home on April 10 for college. Since she did not return home till late evening, her mother made inquiries with her daughter's friends and relatives.
