Indian Coast Guard today repatriated 21 Indian fishermen, taking the total number of those repatriated to 551 in the first three months of this year.

Coast Guard ship 'Abheek' took the 21 fishermen and five boats from Sri Lanka at the Indo-Lanka Maritime Boundary Line. The ship also escorted a salvage team comprising three Indian boats in an operation conjoined with the repatriation, Coast Guard (Eastern region) said in a press release.

Yesterday, ICG had repatriated 19 Indian fishermen, brought them to Rameswaram and handed them over to local authorities.
