Two persons were detained from two different locations in Rajasthan after the Border Security Force (BSF) personnel noticed their suspicious activities along the India-Pakistan International Border.
Acting on a tip off, the BSF jawans detained Shyam Ram Mohan (60) of Chirmari from 34 KYD village in Khajuwala of this district with Rs 220 (Indian currency) last night. He could not speak properly and was handed over to Khajuwala police for interrogation, a BSF spokesperson said.
In Kuriaberi area of Jaisalmer, the BSF jawans detained Iqbal (25) with Rs 77 (Indian currency) and a mobile phone without a SIM card.
The suspect apparently seems to be dumb, the spokesperson said.
He was handed over to Ramgarh police in Jaisalmer for further interrogation, he added.
