12 flights diverted at Delhi airport

The IGIAirport sees around 1,100 flight movements.

As many as 12 flights were diverted at the international airport on Thursday due to bad weather conditions and other factors.

An airport official said there were 12 diversions between 0700 and 1400 hours due to bad weather and VIP movement. Some flights were diverted as the aircraft did not enough holding fuel.

Out of the 12 flights, 11 were diverted to Jaipur and one to Lucknow. All of them later came back to the national capital. The Indira Gandhi International Airport sees around 1,100 flight movements every day.
