10 detained in connection with group clash at Karayampatti

Ten persons were today detained for interrogation in connection with a group clash at Karayampatti near Bodinayakanur in this district.

Police said the clash between two groups erupted over bursting of crackers by some small boys belonging to one group last night in which ten persons suffered injuries.

After a wordy duel, the groups clashed with sickle and clubs. Police said further investigation was on.
