Starring bigwigs like Robert Downey Jr, Benedict Cumberbatch, all the Chrises (Evans, Pratt, Hemsworth), Scarlett Johansson, and others, the trailer for third Avengers movie is set to release tomorrow.
Marvel is celebrating 10 years of when the experiment of the shared universe began with Robert Downey Jr 's Iron Man. The best way to do it is to release a teaser for their highly anticipated trailer for superhero ensemble movie Avengers: Infinity War.
Director duo, the Russo Brothers, teased the fans on social media by posting cryptic messages about the release of the trailer. On Monday, the studio released the character looks for major players in the upcoming tentpole. On Tuesday, fans get a teaser which pays tribute to the Marvel fandom and lists at least one scene from all the 22 Marvel movies that have released or are about to release like Black Panther.
All these movies have been leading to this massive battle we will see in Avengers: Infinity War in which the Avengers will fight supervillain Thanos for Infinity Stones. These Stones are in possession of various Avengers and their allies.
After the events of Thor: Ragnarok, it is safe to speculate that Loki managed to save the Tesseract (The Space Stone) as Asgard was being destroyed. The post-credit scene in which the Asgardian spaceship comes across a massive spaceship which is according to director Taika Waititi belongs to Thanos.
The Mind Stone is what brought The Vision to life. So obviously he has it. The Reality Stone is with The Collector. Asgardians gave the stone to the celestial being after the events of Thor: The Dark World. They thought it was better to not keep two Infinity Stones, Tesseract and this one on one planet. It is now with the Collector at his home Knowhere. Nova Corps of planet Xander are safeguarding the Power Stone after the Guardians of the Galaxy gave it to them. Doctor Strange has the Time Stone. It powers the Eye of Agomotto.
The whereabouts of The Soul Stone are still unknown. It can be speculated that either it will be revealed in Black Panther, slated to release in February 2018, or it will be revealed in Avengers: Infinity War itself.
Thanos will basically run a heist to get all these stones to be jaded on the Infinity Gauntlet.
Who's who of Hollywood is part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. All that star power will be unleashed when the movie premiers on May 4, 2018.
